Default What Happens if a Minor is Charged With a Crime in Juvenile Court

A fifteen-year-old is charged with serious assault after punching another teenager in the face. The punch was precipitated by the other teen's calling a third boy the "n-word". The teen who was hit claims that he was sitting quietly by himself and was punched without provocation. What will happen in juvenile court, in Iowa?
