If there is nothing stated in a Parenting Time order regarding visitation while one parent is exercising their parenting time with the child, can the other parent simply demand visitation during that that parent's scheduled parenting time?

If there is scheduled parenting time, then there is something stated within the parenting time order in relation to visitation.
There are specifics for Parenting Time, but what happens when one parent demands visitation during the others Parenting Time outside of what is ordered?
What right would they have to do that?
That's exactly what I'm trying to figure out.
The non-custodial parent will be exercising their parenting time and the custodial parent has informed the non-custodial parenting that they will be exercising parenting time in addition to what has been ordered by the court. The non-custodial parent already has limited time with their child due to out-of-state living arrangements and by the demands of the custodial parent, the time with the child is even more limited. The non-custodial parent doesn't want to overstep their parenting boundaries by denying the demands of the custodial parent, but at the same time doesn't feel like they should have to lose out on time with their child because the custodial parent is making such demands.
If the non-custodial parent denies the demanded schedule that is outside the court-ordered parenting time, is that considered as denying parenting time?
You seem to be very confused about what the order allows and does not allow. The parties are obligated to obey the court order. In terms of violation of the court's order, it is not a denial of parenting time to the other parent to exercise your own court-ordered parenting time. If you need the order explained to you, consult a lawyer - perhaps the one who represented you when the order was entered.
