Default Can a Gun Owner Move Into a Home With a Felon in Residence

A man in Florida is dating a woman who rents an apartment with a roommate. He wants to move in with her. However, her roommate is on felony probation, and the man is a gun owner. Can he legally bring his guns into the apartment if he moves in? He would keep them in a gun safe in his girlfriend's bedroom.

Default Re: Can a Gun Owner Move Into a Home With a Felon in Residence

The man can take his guns into the new residence without worrying about charges against him, because he's not the person on probation.

The roommate is the one who could get into legal trouble for living in a home where firearms are present. The roommate should thus clear any such plan with his probation officer before any guns come into the apartment.
