I've seen a few of your replies around here...why are you so condescending? Judgemental? We're just people who can't afford lawyers and are looking for insight to possibly put our lives back on track...if we wanted to be judged we'd go to our families and friends
No one was judgmental or condescending to you. All we did was provide you with factual answers to your questions. Just because you don't like those facts doesn't mean we're judgmental or condescending.

To reiterate (in a non-judgmental and non-condescending manner) the responses you received: Yes, you stole from your former employer, you admit that. Because your former employer didn't contact the police, you don't have a criminal record for this theft. But your former employer is legally free to tell anyone (prospective employers, friends, family, the media, pretty much anyone who asks) that you were fired for stealing. There is no time limit on this. Whether or not your former employer chooses to tell anyone who asks why you were fired is something we are unable to predict. And what all these people will do with this information we have no way of knowing.
