Hi, if this question has been answered already I apologize for posting again.
My husband was convicted of felony burglury in AZ when he was 20 years old (he is now 47). I know it sounds bad, but he was living on the streets and stole food. He got out of jail early because of good behavoir and saving a guards life while he was a trustee. He had his rights restored in AZ right after his release.
He has lived in NV since for over 20 years. He is in management of a large grocery store (oh the irony!).
He tells me he is still afraid this is on his record here in NV and that his employment may use it against him for promotions (he has worked for this company over 20 years!). He is also afraid to register to vote or ever be near a firearm.
The question I guess would be if his restored rights in AZ would apply in NV as well?
Is this very old and only conviction still on his record here in NV?
Is he still an 'ex felon'?
Thank-you very much.
