My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan and where I am located in (Florida) I am 18.

I met a girl who had told me that she was 17, and going under the name of Kiera but lets say her name was Leslie, but today I got a phone call from her mother telling me that her name was not Kiera and that she was under the age of 17, her mother told me that she was 14. My question is when her mother called her father said that he is going to press charges under statutory rape even though we've never met, and we both did not do anything sexual. Apparently she also escaped her group home that she was living in and they can't find her (I had no clue about any of this).

Can they press charges on me for Statutory rape or any other crimes? Please help. Thank you in advance.
Block them. Don't respond anymore. Stop sexually talking to strangers on the Internet. You have no clue who is on the other end. This sounds like a scam.
