A couple from Iran is presently living in the United States. They want to get divorced, but Iran won't recognize a U.S. civil divorce. The husband wants to make sure that the wife can't go to court in Iran and seek additional alimony and property after the U.S. divorce is granted. How can he make the civil divorce judgment contingent upon their receiving a shariat (Islamic divorce) so that there is no possibility of further legal proceedings in Iran?
