Default Is it Retaliation to Drag Out a Lawsuit

If an employee sues an employer for labor law violations, where the employee is supposed to be protected from retaliation, is it legal for the employer to drag out the litigation, making it take longer and involve much more time and energy than it should take? Does that constitute illegal retaliation against the employee?

Sorry, no. Hardball defense tactics are permitted in litigation, and do not constitute retaliation.
