I have a misdemeanor on my record for a $25 bad check to a grocery store. It happened nearly 10 years ago in Atlanta, GA.(I now reside in Ohio) I went to court for it and paid the fees. It was my first and only offense. I didn't find out until about 4 years ago when Nationwide Financial hired me and then let me go because it was on my record. I was told since I'm not "bondable", they can't employ me because of there insurance policies.
Since this was my first offense, do I have a good chance of getting this expunged?
Thanks for all your help!
