No I was not. There was no infraction that occurred. In both in the RALJ appeal hearing and the subsequent Request for Trial de Novo hearing I insisted that I be charged with Perjury if I was committing it. My sworn statements and other eyewitness sworn statements were in direct contradiction with the officer's sworn statement (in the Notice of Infraction). One party committed perjury and it was not me.
How is it that I figured out the scam when others didn't? It probably has to do with my background, but mostly it is because every time an attempt was made to cover up a lie it just made it more obvious what was going on. In retrospect it is now clear to those who witnessed an action that was right in front of their eyes the whole time. The fact that consequences were ultimately not benign is what makes this matter even more pertinent now.
