This is in Indiana...
On February 18th I was fired for refusing to work another 8 hour shift after my first 8 hour shift because I needed sleep and it would not have been safe for me to operate a motor vehicle during the shift (or do anything for that matter). Also they were pretty pissed that I couldn't work the next day because of an interview with the State Police.
I got my paycheck for February 11-17th on March 2nd and found that they reduced my wages for that week to minimum wage because of my termination. My check for the 18th is also minimum wage even though I wasn't fired until after my shift and they only paid me for 8 of my 8 1/2 hours.
Just a concern I have too, NONE of my federal taxes were withheld on any paycheck except my first for the company not even FICA. I'm pretty sure I didn't fill out my tax forms like that. Should I worry about this?
