    Default Can You File for Bankruptcy if You are Unemployed

    If you are currently unemployed, can you still file for bankruptcy?

    An unemployed person may file for bankruptcy. Without any income stream, the person would almost certainly have to pursue Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
