My question involves criminal law for the state of: Georgia
I was molested as a child and never told anyone. I tried, but never said anything because I thought it was my fought. I was about 7/8 and it was by my step-father. He also molested others and we were all children. He molested other family members and even some of our friends that came over to our house( parents know who your children are staying with). My mother doesn't believe me, but as children we had child protective services called on numerous occasions, but we were told that if we said anything, we would be taken away from home. The fear of not being at home was greater than the fear of getting molested over and over again. Now all of the individuals are adults, but we were all children when these things started happening to us. He is still left alone with my nieces and I can't do anything about it. It's like everyone wants to believe it never happened and I fear for other children. A pediphile is still a pediphile. He needs to registered as an offender. He never needs to be around children. Even if we can not put him away, we want him on the sexual offender list. Is it possible to do this?
