Not true. Cyber-stalking constitutes any unwanted attention from someone including doing google searches on them, gathering information about them, FaceBook stalking etc. Though you likely wouldn't get PROSECUTED for it until repeated unwanted contact occurred. You can even get prosecuted for stalking by posting victim's name in any context on social media (almost happened to me).
Also, the context of the cease and desist statement really is of no consequence. It doesn't matter if a said law firm said it or of this victim said it themselves. As soon as someone tells you they want no contact from you, you must stop immediately. Any contact thereafter constitutes harassment, and in most states 2 or more unwanted communications constitutes stalking.
I'm curious, though, about the "misrepresentation" statement in the text message. Did you happen to impersonate her on social media?
You should just stay away from this lady.
