Default How to Prepare an Order for a Small Change to an Existing Child Support Order

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: CA

We have an existing child support order made a few months ago. It covers my month payment, child care obligations, insurance obligations, etc...

We went back to court this week specifically to modify the child care portion of the order.

My question is: Do I prepare a FOAH with only the orders made at the recent hearing (and refer to the previous order) or do I completely redo the child support order (keeping prior orders the same).

My concern with completely redoing the order is losing traceability. With two orders it would be clear we had a hearing on X date and X was ordered and a hearing on Y date and Y was ordered.

Court orders go into the court file. They're all dated, and they're all in the file. It is not at all clear why you are worried about "traceability".

Create an order consistent with what the court ordered you to do at the conclusion of the hearing. If you are not sure what the court ordered you to do, see if the judge's clerk can clarify the court's expectation for you.
