The officer was at the bottom of a hill he clocked me going 55 mph in a 40 mph zone. I was timed for .037 miles and 2.40 secs. He then cut me a break and wrote on my ticket 45 mph in a 40 mph zone. Arent you allowed to go 5mph above the posted speed limit. Should I fight the ticket?
The officer said my insurance wouldnt go up. And I believe he said its up to the judge if I get any points on my license or not.
I ask should i fight it because I got a ticket back in Oct. for going 72 mph in a 55mph zone. It was my first offense the judge didnt give me any points and i believe its not on my driving record. All i did was pay the fine.
So do you think that this judge might see that I was already cut a break and issue me points. or should i just plead guilty and pay the fine because i wont get any points?
Sry for length of thread 1st post every on any forum...
