    Default Punishment for Disorderly Conduct

Two weeks ago I was arrested for disorderly conduct while walking home very intoxicated. I have no recollection of the arrest for that I am very ashamed let me say that, I now have a court date. This is the first time I have ever been in any trouble with the law I am 35 and female. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to what I should expect at the court date and if I will need legal representation? Please help with any info that you can. I am a bit scared.

    Default Disorderly Conduct

At the arraignment, you would have the opportunity to enter a guilty plea or to plead not guilty. If you plead not guilty, the matter will be scheduled for trial. You will probably not get the opportunity to speak with a prosecutor about a possible plea deal unless you plead not guility at the arraignment.

I suggest you consult a local criminal defense lawyer about your situation. Even if you choose not to retain a lawyer to represent you, a local lawyer can guide you through what you can expect in court, and what a prosecutor might offer by way of a plea bargain.

You contact one by phone, and either have a phone consultation or set up an appointment.

Depending upon the laws and procedures of the jurisdiction, either by entering a plea of not guilty or standing mute.

    Default Deferred Ajudication

Aaron I have spoken with a local attorney and I have an appt. on Tuesday to speak with him. I feel that I will need representation with my case. I do not understand the charge therefore I do not know how to plead. I feel that an attorney will help me with these matters. Thank you so very much for your insight to this matter.
