A family friend OFFERED to charge my auto repair, in June 2016 two days after the charge he called his credit card company and ask them to reverse the charge, I work at the dealership where the repair was done so I was asked about the charge I called the family friend and asked why he was doing this he in turn called the credit card company and let the charge go through now six months later instead of $200 a month we agreed to he wants $100 a week or he's going to reverse the charge

Normally I would agree with you, but he originally reversed the charge after only two days, and then called the credit card company back and told them to let it go through, so there is no way the credit card company is going to accept a fraud claim six months later.

I could construct a scenario that would account for this to happen in a fraudulent manner and be reasonably plausible. I have had a cc company resverse charges that were over 4 months old myself, which is beyond their contractual and legal obligation.

Nothing is 100%.


The ops follow up stating she used money orders is good to hear. I doubt he would be successful in any attempts to spin this as fraudulent.

So why did you say this in the other thread you started about this;

He gave me his credit card and we agreed I repay 100 per month..two days later he told his cc company


so, which is it; $100 per month or $200 per month?

But that isn't what you wrote. If this ever involves a court, your veracity (believability) is critical.
