So, you have a couple of anecdotal stories. Sorry, but that does not make you all knowledgeable on DV and the related issues.

    ...

If you were to say it was skewed toward the woman in the area of child custody and support, I'd tend to agree. But, in other areas, I'd say the law has tried to walk a delicate balancing act between the rights of the defendant and protecting the victim(s) of domestic violence.
Anecdotal stories ... okay ... whatever... at this point I don't really want to talk to you anymore because you've put me down without any cause.

What I've seen far more in relationships is the women using psychological manipulation to get what they want in really vengeful ways. Unfortunately a lot of guys get angry and sometimes violent when pushed to extremes that way, and as a result get into trouble.

But since you've decided to attack me personally I won't talk to you anymore. Bye.

    But they ARE anecdotal stories.

And please show me where I have put you down. I recall YOU were the one who commented that you had done a great deal of research on the topic, yet it is obvious you have not done nearly as much as you believe you have. That is understandable as many people feel they have a grasp of a complex subject when they in fact, do not.

What I've seen far more in relationships is the women using psychological manipulation to get what they want in really vengeful ways.
And that, my friend, is what we call anecdotal evidence. It might be true for what you have seen, but it does not make it anywhere approaching a universal fact.

Unfortunately a lot of guys get angry and sometimes violent when pushed to extremes that way, and as a result get into trouble.
Certainly. But it is still that male who makes the decision to cross the line from argument to assault. There is NEVER a good excuse to cross that line. A woman can push a man's buttons, but only the man makes the conscious decision to strike out.

But since you've decided to attack me personally I won't talk to you anymore. Bye.
I'm sorry you feel that way, but I do not believe I have attacked you personally at all. If you feel that discounting your self-professed knowledge and experience is a personal attack, than you may have a difficult time in discussing any issue when there are people who disagree with your opinion.
