I hope that you caught that while you are waiting to receive a check you must file for each week of benefits as it passes, called a "weekly certification" for benefits. And please remember that in unemployment, weeks run from Sunday through Saturday. When you are certifying for weeks that pass, be very very careful to be as accurate as possibly in your reporting of the gross wages you've made during that unemployment week from your part time job. Regardless of how or when you are paid, you need to figure them as in number of hours worked this last Sunday through Saturday, by the hour, in gross wages.
Since your other employer's wages will eventually turn up on your social security and tax information, and in other employment systems in the state, they will eventually be reported somewhere and cross matched with the unemployment you've drawn. It may at some time out in the future be questioned if you've gotten the exact amount you made, week by week, wrong while drawing this partial unemployment. So try very hard to keep that figured right and reported each week as it is made.
