Default What is the Difference Between a Waiver and a Notice of Consent

In a Pennsylvania divorce case, what is the difference between the "Waiver of Notice, Form 6a and 6b" and a "Notice of Intention to Request Entry of Section 3301(c) Divorce Decree (Form 7)"?

The Notice of Intention to enter a default judgment requires service upon the other party of the proposed divorce decree, and advance notice of the hearing to finalize the divorce.

The waiver of notice form, if signed by the defendant, allows the divorce to proceed without that required notice to the other party.
