    Default Does Personal Bankruptcy Disqualify a Person from Serving as Trustee

    If a person is serving as the trustee of a trust, and declared personal bankruptcy, is that person disqualified from continuing as trustee?

    Unless there is a provision in the trust that provides for the disqualification of the trustee based upon a bankruptcy, it does not.
