Default Can a Minor Attend a Session of Criminal Court

Can a minor attend her boyfriend's criminal case in a California Superior Court? She's fifteen, and would attend with her boyfriend's mother. She's not a witness.

Default Re: Can a Minor Attend a Session of Criminal Court

Criminal courts are open to the public, so there is no reason that she can't attend a session of court merely by virtue of her age. But she should make sure that it's okay with her own parents, lest she create personal problems for herself and her boyfriend's mother.
