Default How to Become a USA Citizen After Getting Married

I have a green card. I had it for about 15yrs ~ 16yrs. I have been a resident that long. If I get married, what application or process do I need to follow in order to get usa citizenship.

I know I can take a test and if i pass the test, I can become a citizen. This option is not cheap and I believe the fees and application went up just a few weeks ago.

    Thank you.

If you're already a permanent resident, and have been so for sixteen years, then you are eligible to naturalize right now. The marriage is not relevant, and will not change the fees.

If you are of limited means, you can try to obtain a fee waiver.
