    Default Can an Inmate be Denied Parole Due to a Past Conviction

    Can an inmate serving time in New York be denied parole due to a prior federal conviction, even though the inmate served out the sentence for that prior conviction?

    Yes, the inmate's entire criminal history may properly be considered when evaluating the inmate for parole.
