My brother admitted to me that the reason he lost his job two years ago was because he was busted by his employer for stealing nearly $200,000 over a five year period. He said he wrote checks to himself, wire transfers to himself and inflated his paychecks. He admitted to everything to his employer, helped them with the transition to a replacement and hasn't heard anything from them since May 2005.

I asked him why he thinks he hasn't been charged yet and he's at a loss. He said the only thing he can think of is that they were reimbursed from the insurance company and he hasn't heard from them yet either.

He has three kids and says he lies awake almost every night waiting to be arrested.

My question is, with so much money, why hasn't he heard from anyone in two years, he's made no restitution (nor can he). I've got to believe that something of this magnitude would result in immediate action.

Any thoughts on this? Thanks!
