Default Will Prolonged Absences from the U.S. Affect Eligibility to Naturalize

If a Green Card holder has been absent from the U.S. for several long periods, none of which were longer than 180 days, will those absences affect his ability to petition for naturalization?

Absences of less than six months won't affect his eligibility. He does need to be certain, however, that he has been present in the U.S. for not less than thirty months of the last sixty months (5 years).
