    When you form a corporation, is there a tax advantage to forming it before the end of the calendar year?

    Broadly speaking, a corporation can define a fiscal year that is different from the calendar year, so it won't make a difference. However, sometimes a corporation must use a calendar year as its fiscal year, as explained here.
