Is there a fee or charge associated with filing a discrimination claim against your employer?
If you file a complaint with the EEOC or with an equivalent state agency, there is no fee.
If you get a 'right to sue' letter as the result of a complaint, there are fees associated with filing and serving a lawsuit -- but if the case has any merit you should be able to find an employment lawyer who will take the case on contingency and advance those fees, so that you don't have to pay the fees out of pocket.
