Default Can a 17-Year-Old Move Out Without Parental Consent

If you're seventeen years old, live in Illinois, have a home to live in and can support and take care of yourself, can you move out of your parents's home without their permission?

The age of majority in Illinois is 18, so if you leave home before that age you can be treated as a runaway and may be compelled to return home.
