An employee in Florida did not submit her time sheet on time, and the employer paid her based upon the number of hours she said she worked. However, when her time sheet was submitted, it turned out that she had over-reported her hours and was paid more than $300 in excess of her earned wages. The employee wrote a check to the employer to reimburse the overpayment, but quit couple of days later. The check bounced. How can the employer recover the money from the employee?
