Thank you Mr. Knowitall, you have helped me understand possibilities I hadn’t thought of.
I have ‘0’ experience with legal matters, you helped clarify.
Oddly, the street I live on has two areas, about a half-mile apart, with identical addresses. One built in the 20’s (houses) the other in the 60’s (townhouses). Although, I give detailed directions to my house, people who come to visit inevitably stop at the townhomes, first, looking for my house.
I reasoned, in my mind, that conversing with the server would help reveal which area she performed the conspicuous posting, the townhomes down the street, or my house. So, I called her.
I’m batting a 1,000 here, she is a freelancer, not in the office. The man who answered the phone talked over me, he had to get answers from me. I called for an answer, am I not supposed to talk? He told me he’d have to call my attorney (who fired me) and that the server is not allowed answer my questions, after all, who am I. I’ll meet with her, I told him, show her my ID!
I am the client, am I not entitled to speak, ask a question, and get an answer? I mean, I would like to know if she did take a photo! If she did serve at my house, and the tenants were deceitful by saying they never were served, may I continue the from this point with another attorney rather than starting over?
