What is theft of removable property under Wisconsin law, and what is the penalty for that offense?
Removable property is personal property that can be removed without damaging or destroying the property or real estate. Immovable property is property such as a fixture that cannot be removed without damaging other property or real estate.
The penalty for theft depends upon the value of the property, the facts of the offense, and the defendant's record. See Wis. Statutes Sec. 943.20(3).
