    Default Does Leaving a Rent Statement on a Tenant's Door Violate Tenant Privacy Rights

    May a landlord in New Jersey leave a statement of rent due on a Tenant's door, folded in half but not sealed in an envelope, in New Jersey? The tenant believes that the use of the client's apartment number and balance due on the notice violates the tenant's rights of privacy.
