How to Stop Harassment

My question involves defamation in the state of: Oregon.

My daughter's father is in jail and his friends are harassing me. In detail, his friend is accusing me of raping him and abusing our child and will not leave me alone. I moved to Oregon less than 2 months ago and they are still in Washington. This guy has also threatened me and are harassing my family.

This is not defamation if he is directing his comments to you. You can report the harassment to your local (and perhaps his local) police departments.

Go file a report with the police.

Are they harassing you over social media or phone? If so then just block them on all those things. If they are coming to your home and harassing you go to the police.
