    Default Calculation of Child Support With Children from a Prior Marriage

    In Florida, if a parent has children from a prior marriage, are those children taken into consideration when he gets divorced and a child support order is entered for his current marriage?

    Yes, the Florida child support formula takes into consideration children from prior relationships who are also supported by the payor. The formula can be found here.
