My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: ohio
My boss met with me after being on fmla, std, and under the ada protection. There was a situation at work that involved one of my employees being investigated for how a client issue was handled. While out on leave she was fired after bEinhorn interviewed by hr on 10/31. I washould told numerous times by my direct boss I did nothing wrong. Then I go on fmla, sad, ada and meet with him to tell him my illness and discuss my return in a few weeks. After telling him about my mental illness he told me hr is going to interview me about the incident. I asked if I was being fired and states any reasonable person would not given I truly did nothing wrong and have nothing else in my file. He told me I could be but either way my reputation is ruined so you should think about your career. I SaI'd so you want me to leave and he said yes. I then said I'd expect a severance which he agreed I should. Then I said so my options are ask for a package or come back work hard until I find another job. He told me coming back is not a good option. Also during our conversation before I realized I waa not welcome back I said I show signs of bi polar disorder and he said I had a girlfriend with that and she was crazy I could not handle her. Been in my position as an area manager with a large bank 2.5 years and employed 4 years all great reviews.

I need to leave but by telling me coming back is not a good option whIle on this leave help my case at all?
