Here is why they will just walk away. When you enter a CONTRACT between the officer and your self you are AGREEING to the TERMS. Let's just say that works both ways. I won't post too much info publicly because believe it or not I RESPECT our Peace Officers. I just do not like the SYSTEM and how they mis lead WE THE PEOPLE. If you care to PM me I will share with you more info
That is ridiculous! It is nothing at all to do with contracts. No officer has to walk away if you refuse to engage them. Period. In every state, if stopped by the police for a traffic offense, you are required to provide license and registration. If some officer somewhere chooses to ignore a driver's failure to comply, that is the officer's mistake.

One of your RIGHTS are to plead the 5th and say nothing. This guy and many others are just utilizing their RIGHTS
Heck, I don't care if you talk to me, just provide me with your valid driver's license, current registration and proof of current insurance, and i can write the ticket. Seven or eight minutes, and we're done. Easy.

    Son, here's the problem.

You don't actually understand what the US Constitution is, let alone how it applies. The same goes for the Bill of Rights.

Until you manage to rectify that, you're doing nothing more than a million other idiots do when they're bored.
    Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto

I have even suggested to some of these people that they take the time to actually read the constitution and its amendments themselves. They never seem to do so.

apparently you don't know what a contract is or what it takes to create a valid and enforceable contract. There are no contracts Involved

additionally, cops do not have the authority to bind their employers to contracts and any contract a cop might enter into with you is meaningless.
