    Default Can an I-485 be Denied Even If Form I-130 is Approved

    If the i485 is denied can I still get a green card if the i130 is approved?

    The filing of an I-130 doesn't cause you to be granted permanent residence, only to allow entrance. You need the I-485 to be approved (either through a concurrent filing or one subsequent to lawful entry). What you should do is dependent on why the I-485 is denied (or why you think it will be).
