My question involves court procedures for the state of: PA and FL

A little over 3 years ago a family member (in PA) found that I was struggling with bankruptcy and loosing my home. They said they could help and introduced me on the phone to a man who was willing to gift a large sum of money. It was made clear to me that money was no object and he told me that he was more than happy to part with the money.

Now 3 years later (just last week) the person who gifted me the money has fallen ill and may not live long. While I was surprised to hear the news I was even more surprised when the family member claimed to be his power of attorney and demanded that I pay the large sum back. I was not able to respond with anything other than I will talk to a lawyer. I have tried 2 lawyers in the last 2 days but no call back yet and the family member has become increasingly harassing and has said they talked to a lawyer and are going to sue if payments are not made.

There is no way I can pay back the money. I still want to consult a local lawyer but any advice in the mean time would be very appreciated.
