Default Eligibility for Traffic School With a Past 21461.5 VC Ticket

My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
I was cited 21461.5 VC and I know this ticket involves only fine and no traffic school required.
My question is am I eligible for traffic school if (touch wood) within 18 months I am cited again for speeding ticket and the alleged speed is not more than 25 mph over the speed limit.

    Thanks
    David

Default Re: Eligibility for Traffic School

Not only not required, not even eligible. This is a non-reportable (zero point) offense. The state won't even allow you to try to use traffic school here.

To answer your question, the prohibition is not how many times you take traffic school, it's that you can't use it within 18 months of a previous VIOLATION that was suppressed in favor of the class.

You're free to take traffic school for your own enrichment and it won't count against you.
