A woman is on felony probation for drug possession in Minnesota. She wants to transfer her probation to Wisconsin. Her probation officer arranged an inspection of her proposed residence in Wisconsin, and when the inspection occurred the woman was found to be present. Her probation officer stated that she had committed a probation violation by going to the other state without permission, and stated that the woman was not to return to that residence.
The woman was subsequently at her boyfriend's residence, when one of his roommates called the police. The police came and made an incident report, but no charges were filed. The woman is wondering what her chances are of getting a probation transfer, and if her probation officer will find out about the second incident.
