Unhappy Returning to a Store After Getting Banned from Wal-Mart

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

So I have kleptomania, which is pretty close to ruining my life. I've never stolen stuff I've needed before. Usually it's just a CD, DVD, once it was just a set of buttons for a costume I was making for Halloween, but I always made sure to buy something so I wasn't entirely bad. Well, today I needed something for the first time, and I was absolutely broke. I'm in a musical and the director texted me saying that I absolutely needed makeup primer and a bright pink blush. So I went into Wal-Mart and got some of the stuff. I didn't have enough money to buy anything and right as I was leaving (I was running late to begin with) two workers stopped me and made me hand over the stuff. I completely admit I was at fault here, but one of the ladies said if she ever catches me at Wal-Mart again she'll have me arrested for trespassing. So I take it that means I'm banned.

However, I've been searching up how long bans are, and apparently I need to go through... something to have an official ban. They didn't get my name, they didn't keep me in the shop, she just said I can't go there again. So does that truly mean I'm banned? She never told me for how long. I know it is private property, but I'm extremely low on money and there is nothing else near me that is cheap.

I know I screwed up. I know I need help. But how? Would it be safe to say I can go back in a year?

It's not safe to go back FOREVER unless you have it in writing from Wal*Mart that they will once again tolerate you. It's especially dangerous given your sociopathic tendencies. If you walk into a store, it's just a matter of time before they catch you again, and when they find you've already been issued a tresspass order, you're going to not just be kicked oiut of the store, you're going to be arrested (you're quite lucky this has not already happened).

You can also expect a letter from Walmart's "lawyers" demanding money for the damages your actions cause them.

    I'd suggest psychological help.

It will be safe to go back only when Wal-Mart says you can go back.

She isn't going to get a letter. They didn't even take her name. There is also not going to be a record of her prior stop, because they do not have her name. However, I do agree that if the particular employees ever see her in there again, they could certainly make life very difficult for her.
