I'd rather get beat and emotionally abused then go live with some stragners. If that's all their going to do is move me, thats not gonna help me. Thats gonna f*** my head up even more. I'm already trying to do good in school, while family yells and what not. Plus the hurt of not speaking to my father is killing me. My moms irresponsible. My life is rediculous.

Well thank you so much for all your help. I'm pretty much screwed and have nothing else to turn to. Because, if I live with my mother, but they both(my parents) have custody of me, I have to get emancipated in New York right? Or can it be in Florida too?

You must reside in the State you seek emancepation. You live in New York

And even if you could try for emancipation in Florida, Florida law requires that the petition for emancipation be filed by your parent(s). You can't do it yourself.
