Default How to Keep a Real Estate Transaction Private

If you live in a town in which the local newspaper publishes lists of recent real estate transactions, is there a way to keep them from publishing information about a transaction that you would prefer not be publicized?

No. When a transaction is a matter of public record, it may be published in the newspaper or on its website.

With advance planning, if it is worth the cost and effort, it is generally possible to structure real estate holdings such that the name of the actual owner is not disclosed.
