Default Can You Collect a Commission for a Real Estate Sale if You're Not a Real Estate Agent

My question involves court procedures for the state of:

This person put an advertisement to sell the house and for it bring different person and some of them, finally bought the house. Right Now, Sir said: " I don't have to pay anything to person who he requested, because he's not a real estate" The case is the person who sell the house, is only a simple mediator bridge, requested by this Sir.

What must he can do? He has a simple contract as a simple intermediary.

It's an abuse, don't pay the fee in the contract. The person who sold the house, it's only a intermediary, never said: "I'm real state" ¿What can he do?
