Default Hired by a Company That Misrepresented its Financial Stability

If you're hired by a company that touts its stability and standing in the community, but later find out that they lied about their finances and they didn't tell you that the owner was the subject of grand jury proceedings for possible fraud, do you have a basis to sue them for damages from your choosing to work with them over other companies that were, in fact, stable and honest?

No, you don't, because you are getting what you bargained for -- your salary. Your remedy is to look for work elsewhere.
