Default Tenant Stole and Sold Appliances from the Rental Property

A tenant sold the appliances from her rental property. She claims that she is disabled, broke and has nowhere to go. What should the landlord do?

The obvious answer as I see it is to file a police report, as jail actually is a place she should feel welcome to go.

And, of course, the landlord should evict her.
