Default How to File an Appeal of an Order of Eviction

If a tenant believes that there are irregularities in an eviction case, specifically a landlord asking only for money damages but then being awarded an order of eviction anyway, how do they appeal a California eviction order?

    Read this.

If they intend to try to stay in the home they should speak with a lawyer as (a) they may not have a clear understanding of what happened, (b) they may have inadvertently waived their objection, (c) if they make mistakes in their appeal, they still may inadvertently waive their objection or have their appeal dismissed, and (d) depending on the facts, they may only be buying themselves a few more weeks before they're back in court on another eviction case.
