Can You Get Fired for Getting Caught Shoplifting in a Different Store

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Oklahoma

My friend recently was caught stealing sunglasses from Walmart. They took her picture, and made her sign something that says she will never set foot in a Walmart or Sam's Club ever again.

HERES THE PROBLEM. SHE WORKS AT SAMS CLUB. But when Walmart asked her where she worked she said she was unemployed.

We're trying to figure out what's going to happen and what she should do. No one at the Sam's Club she works at knows about it or anything, but we don't know if they'll find out cuz she said she was unemployed.

If they find out she's a thief, they can fire her.

If they find out she's a liar, they can fire her.

She has been banned from the store where she works, so technically speaking she can be prosecuted for trespassing merely for showing up at work.

She will have to wait and see what happens.

Well, if they permissively let her show up for work, pursuing trespass charges is likely going to be a hard sell.

What she can expect is Walmart's "lawyers" to send a civil demand to her asking for money. She can also expect to be entered into the NRTD which may mean finding other big box retail jobs unlikely. Given the efficiency of computers in both of those situations, it's probably only a matter of time before it comes to the attention of her employer.
